Trepucó, Cornia Nou and Santa Anna som talaiotics01 Oct

The surroundings of Maó are rich in prehistoric remains. On this occasion we will visit only three of the sites near the city. Trepucó and Cornia are among the best known on the island, while Santa Anna is largely unknown. It is a hypogeum with some very valuable engravings. Quim Pons, archaeologist and former technical director of the Talayotic Menorca candidacy, will explain the characteristics and curiosities of these remains, as well as the implications of finally being recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The starting point will be on Sunday 1 October at 9:30 am and it is expected to finish around 1:30 pm.

You will receive detailed information on schedules, meeting place and conditions when you register.
