Conference: Es Càrritx cave 30 years later: society and ideology in Menorca's prehistory

A lock of hair discovered in Es Càrritx cave has provided the oldest evidence of hallucinogen consumption in Europe. The famous cave in the Algendar ravine continues to provide information on Menorcan prehistoric society. By Vicente Lull, Rafael Micó and Cristina Rihuete Herrada, coordinators of the ASOME group (Mediterranean Social Archaeoecology), attached to the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
