05 OctThe Consell Insular de Menorca is pleased to announce the events commemorating the first anniversary of the declaration of Talayotic Menorca as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This distinction, awarded on 18 September 2023, recognises the uniqueness and universal value of the island's Talayotic archaeological heritage, and reinforces Menorca's commitment to the protection and promotion of its prehistoric legacy.
Family activities - October 5, 5 p.m.
On October 5 at Son Catlar, from 5 p.m. onwards, we invite you to discover Talayotic Menorca with different activities for all the family:
- Pottery workshop ‘Make your Talayotic piece’, given by Clara Vila.
- Guided tour of the site with the archaeologist and director of the Can Saura Museum, Majo Leon.
- Children's activity on the Talayotic slingers, with Judith Morillas.
- Archaeoastronomy and stargazing, with Nurarq.
Registration for family activities: the cost of this activity is covered by the Talayotic Menorca Agency. Capacity is limited and must be booked in advance using this form:
