Conference: Science dialogues at the IME: "The island of the talayots"

The second edition of 'Science Dialogues' will take place on 14th May with the presentation of the work "The island of talayots. Visibility and visual connections on the island of Menorca during the Talayotic period", by the author Alejandra Galmés (INCIPIT-CSIC and ArqueoUIB). This study deals with the interrelationship between the landscape and Talayotic monumental architecture, and how this forms a reference element that shapes the space of the Talayotic communities. It is part of the preparatory work for the candidacy of Talayotic Menorca as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Simón Gornés, doctor in archaeology (UAB) and member of the History and Archaeology Section of the IME will moderate the event.
