The navetas are funerary sepulchres where collective burials were carried out towards the end of the Bronze Age (1400-1000 BC). The Western Naveta of Biniac is not the most monumental in Menorca, but it is relatively well preserved.

The western naveta is located 700 m to the northwest of the eastern one. It is not as complete as the eastern naveta, although it was subjected to archaeological excavation and a portion of the grave goods were recovered. It was erected upon the parent rock and has only one chamber, oval in shape, which is accessed through a perforated stone slab.
